Your First 100 Words in Urdu w/ Audio CD: Beginner's Quick & Easy Guide to Reading Urdu Script
Though beginner Urdu learning materials are rather hard to come by, I did find this book to be decent. Like it says, it will teach you your first 100 words in Urdu (or a bit less if you already have a basic knowledge), while covering the normal topics like the Urdu alphabet, useful expressions, household items, body parts, animals, and that sort of thing. It also includes useful extras like tear-out flashcards, an explanation of how Urdu script works, and an audio CD to help you learn the correct pronunciation.
