Tor shathe dekha hôye bhalo laglo. ➔ Pleased to meet you.

Tor nam ki? ➔ What is your name? (informal)

Amar nam (name). ➔ My name is (name).


Asking Do You Speak Bengali? or English?

Apni ki bangla bôlte paren? ➔ Do you speak Bengali?

Apni ki ingreji bôlte paren? ➔ Do you speak English?

Bujhte parini. ➔ I don't understand.
