Hello ➔ Zdravo (informal, lit. wishing someone good health)

Hi ➔ Ćao (informal)

Hello ➔ Molim (on the phone)

Pleased to meet you. ➔ Drago mi je.

Nice to meet you. ➔ Drago mi je da smo se upoznali.


Timely English to Serbian Greetings

Good morning. ➔ Dobro jutro.

Good afternoon. ➔ Dobar dan.

Good evening. ➔ Dobro veče.

Good night. ➔ Laku noć.


English to Serbian Goodbyes

Goodbye ➔ Doviđenja

Goodbye ➔ Zbogom (formal, when you won't see someone for a long while)

Bye for now. ➔ Zbogom za.

Have a nice day. ➔ Prijatan dan.

See you later. ➔ Vidimo se kasniјe.

See you tomorrow. ➔ Vidimo se sutra.
