spanish penpals?

anyone want to be spanish pen pals? i'd really like to learn spanish, because my family all speak it and i can't understand what they are saying to eachother. my dad got this brilliant idea "lets not teach the kids spanish so they can fit in more in america". sure, but they all still speak it and never tought us anything.

so if someone wants to be spanish pen  pals with me that would be very cool. sorry i don't know spanish so i can't teach you that, but i do know english, so i can help you with english if it is your second language... or third or fourth language or whatever.

I know what you mean. The same thing happened to me. Now my sister even knows Spanish, because she took courses for it in school, but I never did and now I still don't understand what is being said. And I'm the only one that doesn't understand now. I really should have taken those classes in high school but now I don't have the money to take them anywhere. Are you still looking for Spanish penpal?
